October Celebrations

Adopt a Shelter Dog MonthPuppy standing on hind legs

We have the perfect way for you to celebrate Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Visit the local dog shelter to save a life today! Adopting may not be everyone’s first choice, but it will make a difference for the animal that you’re adopting from the dog shelter. Give the cute dogs a home and the love they deserve if you’re at a point of being ready for one of the best commitments you could make!

National Vegetarian MonthVegetables

We have the perfect way for you to celebrate National Vegetarian Month: try out some vegetarian recipes the next time you have a meal! You may have grown up with having meat as a permanent fixture on your dinner plate, and it may be difficult to think of a meal without meat, but we encourage you to try! There are many different delicious vegetarian recipes available from the Food Network that you can use the next time you make your dinner!

Upcoming Holidays

National Taco DayTacos with salsa

Will you be heading to Rancho Grande Cantina to celebrate National Taco Day this year? Indulge in some delicious street tacos from the restaurant on October 4th for National Taco Day, or celebrate the day after the fact if you can’t make it out on the 4th.

If you’re not too keen on going out to celebrate, you can make some tacos at home! Whichever option you choose, you can enjoy delicious morsels of food thought to have originated in Mexico around the 18th century.

HalloweenFamily dressed up for Halloween

How are you going to celebrate Halloween this year? Since the holiday is a spooky one, we suggest spending the evening watching some horror movies like Scream, Saw, or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If you aren’t a fan of horror movies, you can spend the evening socializing at a Halloween party or making some delicious Halloween treats at your apartment. Remember to be safe this October 31st regardless of what you choose to do!
